This chat behaves like a public AI, but without compromising the security of your data.Avatar is a chat-oriented tool focused on the organized documentation within your workspaces. It also features an "External Knowledge" mode, allowing it to analyze your documents using pre-trained knowledge.In both chats, your information is secure and is not used for AI training. The models we use are clones of those sold by the original manufacturers, isolated within a corporate service.

What is the difference between the Aperium solution and a public AI?

Publicly available Large Language Models (LLMs), such as Claude, Gemini, and others, were trained on massive volumes of data, including much of the internet's content up to a specific cutoff date. This allows them to respond based on this broad range of knowledge, representing a major revolution in how we use AI with public data in our daily lives. However, for corporate use, some risks should be considered:The colossal amount of knowledge in multiple and often divergent areas introduces a risk to the reliability of the answers.There are suspicions and questions regarding the use of chat data for training future versions of the model.The Aperium platform, on the other hand, focuses on corporate clients and uses LLMs such as Claude and Meta Llama, among others, but in Avatar mode, internally focused on documentation uploaded by the client. In other words, it's Generative AI applied to organizational knowledge, maintaining the security and privacy of your information and drastically increasing team productivity and leveling. Another advantage is the ability to use the same interface for various AI models.

Why not simply use ChatGPT to answer my business questions?

Public AIs are ready to interact across diverse knowledge domains immediately, being much more "plug & play" as they already possess all the necessary training. However, they present some weaknesses for corporate use:i) They bring a real risk of hallucination. Hallucination occurs when the AI answers incorrectly but correctly, leading you to believe in the error. Imagine a lawyer basing their argument on a non-existent law!ii) The growing concern about using confidential documents or information in a public AI.iii) ChatGPT allows you to attach a small number of files to the chat, which works well as long as the content is limited, doesn't need to be permanently available, and isn't shared with the team.For professional use, it is important to be able to permanently store hundreds or thousands of files, respecting the isolation and confidentiality of documents and following the taxonomy desired by your organization: by department, by project, by client, etc.

How should I organize my knowledge base?

You decide how you want to organize and isolate your data into workspaces . This can be by department, project, client, or contract, according to your needs. For example, a law firm could create the following departments on the platform: Commercial, Corporate, Tax, and Labor. This way, each "box" will have its information accessible via chat only to the authorized team. But don't worry, you can create "shared folders"—such as Legislation and/or Corporate Rules—whose content can be accessed in chats by multiple departments and projects.

What types of documents are accepted?

In the platform's standard built-in interface, simply access a department or project and select "File Upload". This option also allows the creation of subfolders for better visual organization of files. Multiple file types are accepted, such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, and CSV. The platform also performs transcription and summarization of video/audio files, such as meeting recordings.Image PDFs are also accepted, and images in pure format (png, jpeg) can be attached in the Oracle chat.
